My father has what we believe was an old Sydney water board tool trailer. It's built like a brick **** house, and has served the family well for carrying camping gear.
It was rebuilt by my old man back in 2003, and promptly left in the yard awaiting is next adventure, so myself and the brother in law are working on bringing it back up to scratch for a 'time share' arrangement.
I'll log the progress on it here. It should be a basic refurb involving some new tyres and a lick of paint.
As the saying goes, 'Pics or ban'. So here are a few
The first two is to id the rims. They are a light truck rim, running 7.5x16 tyres.
They are of steel construction, hub ring is approx 108mm, pcd approx 140mm from my crude measurements. I have a feeling they might be old hilux or land cost rims of a 70's vintage. Any thoughts on these? I'm looking for either replacement rims and tyres, or just tyres if cost gets to prohibitive.
