BOAB 42lt in Discovery 2

I am removing my 42lt BOAB water tank from my Defender with a view to install it in our new Discovery 2a when it gets over here.

Just wondering if anyone uses this particular tank or if anyone might know if it will fit behind the rear seats?

Hi,

I have the 50L boab tapered tank brand new never fitted but will fit the rear of D2a although i have taken side bins out. I have gone with a smaller 18L tank for now up against the cargo barrier. May return to the 50L one day still tossing up between the two.

I can't say whether the 40l will fit but I have a tapered 50l behind the seats in my D2 and it fits fine.

Thanks guys, the 50L one is 1000 wide where the 42lt is 1300 wide. I may just have to suck it and see, if not there will be a 42lt up for sale on the markets soon ;)

Would one of the boab defender tanks fit underneath in a D2? I know the exhaust is in the way on the back left, but what about the back right?
