Firstly apologies to anyone in Qld that I ever offended - I now live here.

Recently transferred for Perth and looking to give the Glasshouse Mountains a bit of a run. Obviously never been there so any advice on tracks, do’s, don’t would be appreciated.

Experienced at 4wding but never too old to learn and not to proud to ask...

Do not see many upcoming trips on the forum – are the Brisbane members an active bunch?

Cheers Harry

Trips will be happening between the 3 clubs servicing the area... Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast clubs all run trips to all the areas. Go take a look at how active they all are ;)

Or post up in the upcoming trips area to see who else is keen on a run on a date you choose.

Hi Harry,

Welcome to Brisbane, as well as here you can try the land Rover Owners Club of Brisbane clubs websites as all of our trips are there:

Land Rover Owners Club of Brisbane - Home (http://www.lrocbrisbane.org.au)

Not sure about the legalities of driving around the Glass House Mountains as we received information from 4WD Queensland that we need to stay on formed roads in the plantation area and the power company is putting camera up to deter people.

Hopefully someone who may have some better information about it may put it up as mine is only what I've heard.

I know the club has a trip this weekend up to Land Cruiser Mountain Park and usually 2 per month.
