Hi all,
has anyone put in the dog barrier (as per catalogue) in a new D4?
I'm thinking my two German Shepherds may fall in love with leather!

No haven't seen them in use but if your looking for something to keep the hair and slobber at bay theres a really good site in the UK that custom make cargo proctection items that cover everything in the rear, i forget what its called but someone should know! I just had a quick look and it appears the cargo divider is just under $500 not sure if thats good or bad.

They're pretty simple to fit. Here are the instructions:
VUB501170-397 - Dog Guard | TOPIx (http://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/content/document/view?id=64977&groupId=1667)
If you want to get one I would suggest shopping in the UK - somewhere like Duckworths.
The mounts are a bit lightweight. For the price I would consider a cargo barrier as it's probably cheaper. I have an Autosafe which I like because you don't have to cut any holes in the trim.
Cheers,
Jon

But be careful, with the Milford barrier, both our Springer and Koolie can squeeze through the gap on the side, between the barrier and the side window.
Don't know if a GS would fit through though.

I have a Milford fitted to my MY13 D4. Scarry is quite right about there being a big gap but I think it's there to comply with ADR's as there are side curtain airbags there so maybe it will be an issue with other barriers too. Worth checking before you hand over your hard earned dollars.

I have the dog guard fitted. Was only about $550 I think. Bought locally and included figment. I removed mine once I got home and refitted it with the cargo blind. Pretty easy to fit. It also fits with the load space protector that I got from www.hatchbag.co.uk. This set up will keep the back pretty tidy.
