We've had some very warm days here and it's not even summer yet.
Last summer, on one notable day, January 17th, it got to 46.3. Shane and I were only reminiscing about that day last night.

It was 42˚ outside the dark blue tin shed we were filming in. Hotter inside, but no thermometer inside.

Quite reasonable today, only 32°C - but there have been three days this week when it got above 42°C, most recently yesterday.

This is Australia. It is summer. It is hot. Anywhere. Those who don't have to work in it should be thankful they don't have to.

Only about 32 here today but regularly got to 50 plus in the shade in Newman area. Highest I recall was 56 celsius. I still laugh at people here when they reckon 40 is hot and unbearable.

I'm from WA originally, and have 'enjoyed' the 50+ temps of the east strelley and turner river area of the pilbara in january before now, where my work boots were no match for the surface temps of river boulders at 11 am! :-P

I can tell you 32*C is hot
When the dew point is 26*C, you gotta chew the air before you can breath it in:D

Walking outside the donga at 22:00 and it still registering 38° is what i considered normal over summer up north!
Every day was over 40, nights down to low 30s was the norm.

Doing better than that here - we've had just 50mm in the last three months, albeit only 3mm in the last month. Getting very dusty.

Well, in Doomadgee it's HOT & just a bit muggy.
Yesterday was a reasonable 41.
Don't mind the heat, glare, humidity, storms that build up then disappear, but
The bloody flies are starting to get a little active!
Never have got used to flies up my nose, in my mouth, ears, behind my glasses, down my shirt or in my beer.
You would think after 17 years I would get over it but I HATE FLIES!

Yep, regularly worked in 50+* Newman, Cloudbreak, Marble Bar et al, but at least it's a dry bearable heat.

Twas 40 + here on Saturday and a much more bearable 32 on Sunday.
To my mind, if it never got above 25 I'd be a happy bloke.
I hate the heat, hate humidity and look forward to winter every year. But that's just me :D

I'll go for a road cycle ride in up to about 45 DegC but restrict it to 50km distance if it's above 40DegC - mainly because 2 water bottles empty in that time and/or become too warm to drink comfortably. Definitely prefer less than 36 when riding though.
I don't mind the heat at all as long as it's low humidity. Hate the cold (unless snow skiing) and don't much like humidity. Perth is just about the perfect location for me:cool:.
