My original D3 service booklet is now full. Being a stickler for keeping maintenance records I thought I would get another service book from Land Rover. They want approx $150 for it and have to get it in.

Has anyone got a better source for these? Or any other ideas for keeping the service history?

For $150 I'd want the booklet and an oil & filter change!

Cheers,

Matt

Found this one on e-bay. Plenty of after market ones available.

LAND ROVER SERVICE BOOK SERVICE HISTORY RECORD LOG BOOK REPLACEMENT | eBay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVER-SERVICE-BOOK-SERVICE-HISTORY-RECORD-LOG-BOOK-REPLACEMENT-/140413942093)

Either that, or book your vehicle in to LR dealer for a service - tell them that your service book is full and that you would expect them to provide another so that you can continue the vehicle records. Make it clear that if they are not prepared to provide a record book - servicing will be done elsewhere.

$150 for a replacement / additional service record booklet is ridiculous.

My maintenance records are completely digital now. You can buy decent software (I use automotive wolf) for something like $50USD and you can record maintenace for as many cars as you like

A fully itemised reciept kept in a record folder should be good enough.
With my D4,there are no service books, its all now done electronically. If useing a dealer perhaps see if it can be done for earlier Landys.

Gday...

A very helpful AULRO-er gave me this PDF file of the replacement service booklet some time ago.

I have just printed out the actual 'service record' pages and fixed them into the original book.

Hope it helps.

Real long shot, but 10 years on any chance you still have the electronic copy or have a way to share it?

JLR offer a supplementary service book. Pretty sure they were around $20.00 the last time I imported new genuine ones from the UK.
