Hi all
A quick question that others may have had to deal with. When the fresh air vent is switched to outside air it still pumps out warm air. All the temperature controls are switched to cool, air con is off (well doesn't work actually). I've replaced pollen filter, but still outside air is cooler than that coming through the vent. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Which vehicle???
Could be a blend motor issue, they control a flap that mixes fresh air and air thru the heater matrix, which has hot water all the time.

I've struck it several times, and haven't really got a definitive answer, However, when it has occurred, I have noticed the temperature setting inside the vehicle is higher than the indicated external temperature. ( have to say not always the case ) I have managed to revert to cool air by altering the internal temperature down, and giving the aircon a burst for a few seconds. Seemed to fix it.

Have to get the manual out and have a good read.

It's climate control, it reduces or increases the internal air temp from the ambient temp, the sensor on the D4 can be hit and miss, we have had trouble with ours, check the temp guage, see what it says, then compare it to the actual outside temp, your sensor may be playing up.

If you switch climate control off, have the fan on manual, select the vents you want and set temp on the min (and has to be min) you should have outside temp air coming in - it might take a little while as the warmer air still in the system needs time to clear as well as cool the ducting etc.
