View Full Version : How many Registered Cars to people own?
Robmacca
19th November 2014, 09:22 PM
Me, being the curious person I am, have been reading a few people's signatures at the bottom of their post where they list the cars they have &/or have had but are now sold.....
Got me thinking as to what is the average number of registered cars do people have? 2 or 3 or more? More than 3, then how often do u drive them all?
Currently, I've got 3 registered cars (+2 unreg Zooks in the shed)
The missus' Prado 150
My Weekend Toy - Modified Suzuki Vitara
Daily Driver - '96 Disco Tdi
I've been talking/discussing with the missus about increasing that number by one but it's hard to get past the logical point of why do I need another car ?? Well.... Uh... not sure
Interested to hear from others as to how many "registered" cars people have and how often to they drive them ??

Hi Mick
Polaris' are registered. Primary Producer. It means that I can ride on the side of the road to go from one paddock to another. It's about 4 km's around the back roads to my out paddock.
But then they will both do 100 kph . hahaha So not slow.
To sure but I think a mate has his with Rec bike rego. Don't know what it lets him do. Parks etc I think.

Well.... I'm not sure if common sense has gone out the window or not for me, but it seems I've added to the list of Cars I now own  . I hadn't planned on doing this for at least another 1>2yrs & I was happy for now just researching..... but it looks like I've also joined the Defender Club :o
Not sure what I was thinking but I've ended up with a '96 Defender Tdi but it's currently unregistered and probably will stay that way for a little while until I can figure out what the heck I'm going to do with all these cars.... I've only had my disco-1 for a few mths and even though the original plan was only to have this car for a short time, I've enjoyed driving it and I'm not willing to sell it just yet.... So, The Defender can go under cover for the time being......
