It has came to my attention that there is a considerable amount of people on this site that are either farmers, related to farmers or work on the land.
In these hard times with the economy and the drought I see a lot of my mates that are farmers struggling day to day.
With the increasing number of feral pests and the decreasing amounts of crops and feed the ferals are becoming a concern.with the increasing numbers of scumbags participating in the hunting scene it is becoming very difficult for a thing called trust.
I'd like to offer to those who need any feral pigs, foxes or dogs eradicated my services.
Information:
I have a full time job (not a dole bludger)
I have my own vehicle that is kitted out for remote areas
I mainly specialise in feral pig eradication by using hunting dogs (main dog is a pure working kelpie used to locate feral pigs in virtually any terrain)
Dogs are stock proof
Latest updated gps tracking equipment for each individual dog and myself
Protective gear for each dog so there's a lower risk of injury to the dog
4wd quad for those places that need a considerable amount of land covered
I do have an ABN and registered buisness however for these services I do not charge
No smoking,drugs or alcohol
Only family members assist no mates of a mate buisness
Mid weeks are suitable
Anywhere in NSW or south queensland

Yup very hard to get on to property's now days because of a few idiots, I shoot out Tottenham way and its just about impossible to get on to new places because of cut fences stolen diesel lost dogs ect ect if it was not for the fact I have family there I doubt I would have any propertys out there to shoot on Some irresponsible doggers have ruined it for the rest of us. Here's an example Trio face 60 charges after pig hunt (http://news.smh.com.au/national/trio-face-60-charges-after-pig-hunt-20080128-1oj8.html)

I used to shoot but retired my firearms as it it more and more difficult to find places to hunt.
Farmers could make money out of the situation by charging shooters to hunt. Turning a bad situation into a money making situation perhaps

Yep its a very difficult situation these days...I'm only young compared to most on here :D however been brought up to do the right thing (same as yourself by the sounds of it) by my grandfather and old boy who have always been shooters however I went down the hunting dog path which it is unbelievable how disrespectful and ungrateful others can be  out around the Tottenham, warren, carinda way it is pretty bad out that way for fence cutting its a joke...for example I was heading away to a property up the mountains one arvo on the way up I passed a paddock with a mob of pigs reasonably close to the road rather then pulling up letting the dogs out and causing a heap of grief I drove kilometers past them to the homestead and asked if it was ok to go catch them pigs that were down rooting up his paddock ? The response was "nope I don't want u pig chasing kind around here all yous do is cut fences and steal stuff" I was a little offended by the response I received and it showed how bad a name the sport or hobby has gotten itself...
It is frustrating to think that these "scum" goto the trouble of stealing diesel, pumps, bikes and goodness knows what else when all they have to do is pull there finger out and get a bloody job and ya wouldn't need to take $50 worth of diesel and use $60 worth of diesel to get there...

There are "scumbags" in all activities, not just hunting. Yes they give ethical and intelligent hunters a bad name but there are clearly two types, the invited and uninvited. The latter are clearly selfish and ruin the reputation and efforts of the first.
Good luck and thanks to all ethical law abiding hunters, I'm in this category and respect the land owner's wishes at ALL times.

I think programs like this SSAA Farmer Assist Program | SSAA Farmer Assist (http://www.farmerassist.com.au/) & Sharp Shooters - Landline - ABC (http://www.abc.net.au/landline/content/2014/s4082654.htm) are definitely a part of the future solution.
I'll be certified hopefully early in the new year.

Good luck with what you wish. Being brought up on sheep & cattle properties, Central Qld, in the late 50's, I say this. You would be regarded as a cowboy, & not allowed any where near the property. Just my thoughts. Bob

We used to have a sign on the roadside gates of the farm "Trespassers will be shot". Sometimes its a pity u can't actually carry out that threat.. It'd sort the problem out pretty quickly!!! :wasntme:

Done a fair bit of vermin shooting in my time and i have to agree it is always the idiots who cruel if for the genuine blokes but if you are a local or regular, word of mouth is the best recommendation you can have. In other word your reputation will precede you - what you do and how you behave will dictate whether you are allowed back on properties. Every cocky wants to get rid of vermin but they don't wan't trigger happy ferals doing it.

What's a troll ?
A troll is many things in the digital world........ but on this forum, in my experience, it is someone who is able to think independently and is prepared to discuss other possibilities on a range of subjects that are opposite to the narrow minded simplistic view of the individual that (in these cases) labels said independent thinker a troll.
The interesting quandary is that the behaviour of the person labelling the person expressing an individual opinion or referencing another "point of view" (sane or not) as a troll, is MORE troll - like and often compensating for deficiencies that individual has.
Just MY opinion based on MY experience. Consider it a compliment (being called a troll just because someone doesn't see it from another perspective) and a recognition of your entrepreneurial flair :)

In 2007 I was back in Winton for a family funeral. At the wake discussion got around to feral animals and the game meat trade. The deceased one time ran a freezer box for a game meat exporter. One of the cockies present from the Diamantina side towards Old Cork said he had a professional game meat hunter on his place harvesting goats and pigs for the European game meat trade. Game meat is defined as being field shot and dressed. The cocky said he was stunned to find out how much money the hunter was getting for his carcasses. He reckoned the shooter made more out of the feral animals than the cocky made from sheep and cattle.

Yeah goats are still bringing a bit of money these days a lot of them get sent for processing at Glenn innes. Most the chillers in nsw are closed these days which is a good and a bad thing IMO bad that farmers can't get some money for there ferals however while the chillers are closed there's less fences being cut and gates run over by the low life's trying to make a quick dollar.

I'd say you'd have the most comfy hunting vehicle if your cruising around in the d4 not silly at all if its getting the job done...yeah I've hunted with glow sticks attached to the dogs like everyone used to but when ya dogs start going out to 2-3km I like to have the new technology to help me get there quicker not only does it give you peace of mind knowing where there at it also helps in saving time which in turn lessens the likelyhood of a dog getting injured...If someone turned up with a heap of mangey looking dogs on the back no collars no tracking gear no first aid gear or if someone turned up with there dogs that have all the equipment on and well looked after looking dogs that won't carry parvo, worms etc etc to pass onto the farmers dogs which one looks like they take care in what they do ?

Sorry for the digression, but I thought that the question was worth a reasonably detailed answer.....
What's a troll ?
A troll on the internet is someone who makes a comment with the express intent to cause dissension and argument/fights. They get a small amount of satisfaction from these, approximately the same small amount as their brain and intelligence size. It's always worth looking at the track record of someone who consistently contributes negative and inflammatory posts in a wide range of threads. That is done by clicking on the username of the poster in question at the top left hand corner of any of their posts, then selecting "find all posts by *username*". This then allows each user to formulate their own opinion on the usefulness of the comments by the selected poster.
Some context: Don't feed the troll

And the almost obligatory image on the subject:
