I'm in trouble with the wife. I keep buying Land Rover accessories and parts for the Disco. I just can't stop. I buy something new and I'm wrapped for a few days but then I'm looking for the next add on / improvement. It's got to the stage where I'm hoping the wife is out when Aus Post knock at the door.

A few good High Country tours this summer should break a few things so I have a legitimate reason for the purchase...

I'm clearly obsessed and have a problem and need help!:twisted:

My young apprentice...

Do what the seasoned buyers among us do.

Have all deliveries made to your work! Install them there too if you can, and get rid of the incriminating packing evidence while you're at it.

She's good. I got a new rear working led light put on, no evidence (eBay receipts / packaging, did not see me install at all) and she said as soon as she came inside "I see you've got a new light on the back".

What was even scarier was I removed the old Magnum steel rope winch and fixed a new one last week. Took her two days to realise I had replaced it even though 95% of the blooming thing is hidden behind the bar.

Anyway, that's why I'm in the dog house. These accessories are costing me an arm and a leg. For everything I buy she spends the same amount on shoes / clothes /accessories. My wallet can't keep up with this kind of compensation :D

How the hell am I going to get a Engel in the back?

Ouch...looks like I'll be icing it for a while. Idea no. 1 - next camping trip I'll tip the ice out of the Esky and fill it with water. See how she likes her Sauv Blanc luke warm.
I can handle luke warm beer for a few days!

Tell her it will keep her wine cold or otherwise time for a new wife.

Anything I put on my car is a product 'sample' which I need to test :D;)
