Anyone haveexperience with Fullriver batteries?

My auto elec rates them, they ate considerably smaller for the same CCA, and are AGM type.

Also they are 30% cheaper than odyssey brand.

I'm referring specifically to their HC series (high cranking, not deep cycle)

Their smaller size should make them ideal for that bloody defender battery box.

Naturally I'd also need them to work with a traxide sc80.

Thoughts?

Suggest you also consider PowerAGM, considered as comparable to Fullriver & Remco. All China made.
eg: 105AH (N70 case) $254.10, and 130AH (331Wx175Dx220H) $286
NOTE: I am biased, 'cause I sell PowerAGM!

I rate them as a very good AGM Battery.

I fitted dozens of them when I was fitting out power boats four years ago, I have one myself in the back of the Disco. It's performed faultlessly for 5 years now. I have recently installed a Traxide USI 160 to go with it.

I do look after my batteries, they are always maintained by careful monitoring of the state of charge and a CTEK charger is used whilst the Disco is left standing in the shed for three weeks, sometimes longer whilst I'm offshore.

A few years ago I had with a discussion with a gentleman called Don Pulver who designs and develops military spec generators and DC chargers for defence forces around the world and he rates them as a very good AGM battery.

He is based on the Sunshine Coast, and can also supply Full River AGMs at a competitive price.

I ma not affiliated to his business by the way.

I use the Full River deep cycle batteries - they are very good. Would happily recommend them.

I've had a 120 amp hr Fullriver in the van for a couple of years now with no problems. They have a very good reputation on the caravan forums.

Cheers

Fullriver batteries are great for the money, however apart from the extra cost, lifeline batteries are the go!

I have a small 55ah Fullriver deep cycle that fits in the defender box without having to move the original battery. Seems fine - had it about a year.

I recommend them also, not being biased at just because they are one of our suppliers
