G'day guys and girls,
Just after some quick advise to find where I could find the ignition wire under the dash? I'm just about to instal an engine saver and although I could just test the wires and find it, I'm looking for the lazy way out 😜 any advise would be amazing!
Cheers

What sort of car and by ignition wire are you looking for a live feed when ignition is on?

A search of his previous posts suggests it's a D2.
Assuming you don't need to draw in imperial ass-tonne of power, you can get 12V Ignition switched power from the back of the cigarette lighter socket. This would mean you engine saver would get power when your vehicle is keyed to ON.
I don't own a D2, but this is a standard source

There is a pin in the fuse box that from memory is live only with ignition.
I think it is where I have pointed in the picture. If not it is in the vicinity and not hard to find.

That^^^ is the one i can confirm 100%, female spade connector fits on it prefectly, there is another one which doesnt drop while cranking in the place of terminal 85 of relay nr 4(bottom horizontal cavity) which on Td5 should not be there cos it's only for V8 and male spade connector fits in there well just dont exceed 1A on neither of these

So what you are saying is that on a Td5 that relay number 4 can be removed and power can be taken from there as well, yes?
