Service Advice.

My sons girlfriend recently purchased a new Corolla. It is due for its free1,000 km service. However she was asked, for a cost, if she would like the oil and filter changed.

He asked me for advice. I suggested that she follow Toyota's recommendation, but in the same breath I also said that the oil change would not hurt.

What would you do?
