Hey Guys:
As you are mostly aware of my Discovery TDV6 Conversion Project... I know have a Leftover TDV6 with a Failed Idler Pulley etc on Timing Belt.

Its been sitting in my trailer (covered from Weather etc) for a Month or so now... Need to use the trailer for other things so I think its time to strip it down.

At this stage things I think I should be keeping off it are
- Diesel Fuel Pump
- Diesel Injectors
- Turbo
- MAF

Anything else worth salvaging?

That's a problem you are faced with because a used engine doesn't come with the proviso that the replaced engine has to be returned to LRA. My engine was new from LRA so I could only claim the parts that the new engine didn't have and that included a turbo that has had contaminated oil through the bearings <not happy>. So I had to have a new turbo as well. If I have to do it all again, I will take your route BusinessConnected.

What do your pistons look like? Is the bottom end salvageable at all?

Might be worth putting it on ebay - someone might be able to use the block, who knows?
