Well after all of the research, sweat and money I have put into Ivy, I have decided to sell her on to a new home.

The replacement is a Mazda BT50 freestyle cab ute. So the mods to it will start when it arrives :D

I will be sorry to see the 90 go as I love her character and so forth, but just the little niggly things have begun to annoy me, especially after spending the past 6 weeks in her touring. Don't get me wrong she was brilliant, no dramas, breakdowns or engine lights and was great on fuel towing the Tvan for over 8000kms. We just realise that we needed a bigger vehicle as when I bought the 90 I had no intention of buying or towing a camper and going down that route.

So, I am here to say goodbye, and hope I have been able to give a little back to the forum as I have learnt a lot, thank you one and all who have posted.

Thanks

Mick.

I have recently sold a 90 that I spent a small fortune on. My issue is getting two young kids in the back seats and two dogs. Unfortunately the LR bug has got me and I am now looking for a D2 or 3. As interim I am thinking of an Ex Army 110 for club stuff. I am in the Cairns LR Club. The wife did say I shouldn't buy my next car based on a club but they are a good bunch of people. I would buy a D4 but as I purchased a runout FPV this year funds won't allow it. Enjoy your Mazda.

Hi Mick , I have been a Land Rover devotee for many years , they have been my every day choice of transport for the last 40 years . My 110 td5 is getting old , and I and thinking of a replacement , I can't beleave the cost of second hand 110 Defenders , plus the new ones have crept up and up . For the first time I'm looking at other makes , for me It won't be an easy decision , I suppose time will tell , good luck with the Mazda . Jim
