td engine cover question

So I did my first service since buying the fl2, what a joke to ge to the plastic filter lid any way does the plastic ecover over the engine normally have sound proofing on the underside? Mine has nothing on the cover it's self but around the injectors looked like traces of decintergrated foam.
Also should there be hose clamps on the plastic intake pipe between airbox and turbo
