Hey guys,
So feel free to pm me..
Oh it's a very funny and interesting story. Let's just say I am stunned out how people believe they are above the law. But anyhow yes lots going on, no resolution other then a car that has had now everything replaced excluding the engine and the diff.
If you want to get an idea on what I am talking about go for a stroll over to the qld courts Web site and search for the current status. Although not much it will give you an idea on what I am talking about. Didn't realize so many people are above the law in Australia.
But otherwise will keep people updated, once we can, and will really never sign a keep quiet unless I was forced to. It's been an interesting 4 months to say the least.
But always hovering around, and could have jumped in on any threads but decided to bite my tongue. Feel free to post me offline if you have questions.
Cheers
Juxtin

ha ha.. can't attend court, when people after 3+ months (nearly 3 months overdue) don't follow court rules..
In saying that massive amounts of work done on car to keep running, still travelling and hopefully will have some resolution...
Cheers

Time will tell ;)

So it appears we have an outcome.
File Summary (http://apps.courts.qld.gov.au/esearching/FileDetails.aspx?Location=BRISB&Court=DISTR&Filenumber=3290/14)
I guess if there is an NDA then the only question we can ask is, are you satisfied with final outcome firefox?

And looks like the LRStory website has been removed.

I spoke to him about two weeks ago. He declined to say anything about the court case or why he was unable to talk about the case. He did say he no longer owns a LR, and was satisfied with the outcome what ever that was. He now drives a new LC200. He does miss the EAS, but otherwise pretty happy.
After doing a quick trip through central Qld, I understand the attraction to Toyota. Even Oakey has a Toyota dealership. I think I saw about 5 other land rovers. Most vehicles were tojos.
Despite being completely outnumbered I quietly enjoyed the power performance and comfort of my RRV. 😄

I thought I'd update this, his RR is gone and he now owns a 200 Series Cruiser, he has it in the MY 4WD section of MySwag.

Maybe he won't treat the cruiser as bad:angel:
One thing for sure, he's certainly loading it up with accessories pretty dam fast.
He is a moderator on MySwag, probably why he wasn't on here so much and now not at all.

No idea what this thread is about! Anyone have a link to the back-story (or can provide a paragraph to summarise)?

people need to have a little stop and think before they start throwing unproven accusations out and about.
you might also need to be able to back up any of your statements in court if do make statements that can be misconstrued and taken in a different light to what you may have originally intended.
some pretty serious accusations have already been deleted and they will not be tolerated as they are personal attacks when it is all said and done
have already had one phone call over this lot...
and you can bet your bottom dollar they have made copies before i was advised the thread had descended into the mire it did.
wake up to our selves please...
