You should be careful to correct that Ad. It is not applicable to '97-on (oz-spec) defenders as stated. AFAIK there is nothing to scan on a '97 or '98 Tdi AU-spec defender as we did not get the EFI variant of the Bosch VE pump.

It is presumably applicable to '99-on TD5 defenders, however the last few Tdis sold in AU were plated '99 also...

Thanks for the heads up, I will get some clarity on this when I speak to them tonight. As always its a generalised advertisement, and owners should check there specification before purchasing any product.
