Indian or Taiwanese?

I am after a rotary table for my milling machine and the two choices are an Indian one or a Taiwanese one. The Taiwanese one is a bit dearer, but are they better quality?

Cant speak for rotary tables, but my experience has been that Tiawanese tools are generally much better than Indian tools.

I would buy Taiwanese over Indian any day although i'm sure there are some good quality Indian made tools.

Taiwanese.
The large majority of handtools today eg kingchrome, sidchrome, s&p, force, kc, etc are manufactured in Tiawan.
They make a better quality tool than the indians generally, more educated staff, better steels, better cnc machines.
I have an indian vice at home(was a gift) the jaws are not parallel, out by more that 2 mm from new.

Jeff, seen a film on industrial progress in India (short), showed 2 Indians with a 12" hacksaw blade (with a little bit of rag around each end), sitting opposite one another, with a 6"x12" RSJ (rolled steel joist/beam) between them, sawing (like you would a log). They were through the top plate and about 2" in to the upright, it had only taken an hour to get that far, so I would go Chinese/Tiawanese, Regards Frank.

Most of my woodworking machines are Taiwanese. All done the job well, and worked on some pretty tough timber.
