It would depend on what rims it came with, and what width 33s.

255/85 will fit on standard rims but anything wider and you may need off set rims.

I run 285/75/16 Kumho KL71 on Dynamic 0 offset rims, stock suspension fully flexed up does not rub anywhere. The vehicle is a 2012 D110 station wagon. I have fitted 50mm spring spacers in the front to level it back to stock height after I fitted a winch and bar.
You could get away with wheel spacers if trying to keep the stock alloys, but Mr Plod might pick on you.
Let us know how you go.

the tyre dimensions for the km2s are 255/85-16 (depending) if I have to change the rim as the stock tyres are 235/85 r16. If i need to change the rims I have been told that the dynamic rim zero offset is what is needed. does this sound right?

Jesco,
I ran those exact tyres (BFG 255/85/16) on OEM Freestyle Alloys (+33mm standard) which are the ones before the current Boost Alloys and I can assure you that you don't need to change the rims.
You might just touch a bit on full lock, but you can adjust your steering stop a fraction to stop that.
By all means buy the zero offset wheels if you want, but I think its a bit of overkill on the 255's.
285's is a completely different ball game and as Ben wrote, you would definitely need an very low offset to make them work.
Cheers,
