Accelerator pedal

Hi,
I'm thinking about changing over for a new accelerator pedal, as there is a slight miss around 1800-2000 rpm, thinking it might be a bit stuffed although no fault logged.
Can anyone recommend a UK supplier that won't charge the earth?
Also is it better to change to a three thrack accelerator to overcome this issue? Do you need to also swap over your ECU

Could be the cause of the hesitation but it might be a good idea to check whether it is in fact a faulty throttle pot.


The item is not cheap, so it's probably best to check first. You indicate that there is no fault logged.


Both two and three track pots are available, but if you get 3 track, you'll need to install it with Nanocom or whatever machine you have access to.

keThe 2 track pedal became obsolete, the only available new part(and cheapest in Uk) is Throttle Pedal Petentiometer LR030567 (SLC000020PMA) Island 4x4 - Specialists in Land Rover and Range Rover Parts and accessories for all models. UK and worldwide mail order. (http://www.island-4x4.co.uk/throttle-pedal-petentiometer-lr030567-slc000020pma-p-3946.html) if your car is with 2 track from factory the 3'rd track will be unused you'll need to swap or remap the ECM too to accept the 3 track setting but you can set it to 2 track easy with tester... to go for 3 track you'll have to go for the 4 pin AAP sensor too if you want a perfect setup.


As said, the TP input is very well covered by diagnostic as it's part of the addaptive strategy and IMO you should have got ''driver demand'' fault codes logged if the trouble was in that area... investigate better on live data when the symptom occures cos it looks more like wastegate modulator or even more probable fuel supply issue cos that's not covered by diagnostics


how old is the injector loom?, it's not enough to check the ECM red plug, see the upper plug at the front of the head too cos if you see oil there better replace the injector loom before you spend big money on a throttlr pot.
