A bit of Japanese Steam No 2014

Back from 15 days holiday in Japan. Managed to get in 2 steam visits.
1st is Oigawa railway which was planned and the 2nd was Japan Railways Kyoto Steam Museum, which I glanced from a train.

Shinkansen, very impressive to travel in ..

Excellent pictorial, Rosco8. The Shinkansen certainly makes a contrast to the old steam loco's. It certainly will be a long time before our gummit spends money on a train like the Shinkansen.
