I'm undecided as to the hard top I have ( it's white and I'd have to paint it... Can't stand the looks)
Just wondering what you prefer
Hard top
Ute top
Nothing
Or canvas

Personally I love the hard top Series 1. Especially the 107". I love that dumpy sort of top heavy gaite. It's classic Cambridge-Oxford 1st Overland. Love it!
Keep yer top on!!!

Cheers

Canvas or nothing for a SWB. I hate the truck cab on the short Series 1's although full hard top is ok.

For a LWB, a truck cab is the go with canvas over the back.

I'm just a traditionalist ;)

My favourite Land Rover is the full hardtop 80 inch, someday I might find a hard top to suit ours. Just love that look, makes them look even shorter than they already are.

I also am not a fan of the hardtop truck look, but they served their purpose. Each to their own.

Hmmm controversy lol I've got a canvas ute top for mine and like it without the door tops on and usually the back of to.,. Gets hard to be a traditionalist come winter in Victoria , the wagon style top is way way to noisey

Hi all
My 49 I have has a hard top as well as a Tilt.
The 58 88" has a Ute top, Full Safari Top and a Tilt.
I like them in any which way.
They all have the appeal and uses.
Canvas is a lot going for it in good weather, not as much fun in middle of winter.
Back in 2004 when crossing the Simpson Desert the 88" suffered with the extra weight of the Safari Top, a tilt would have been some 200kgs lighter.
cheers

True back in, I'm kind of thinking ute hard top for winter ... But the bloody wagon top in white I don't like as Much as those I've seen painted( even just the sides).... The canvas ute top is cool... Comes of in 30 seconds and negates the need for pith helmet
