Hi,
I was chasing some info on the web and came across this on UK LR site.

I am not sure if this is appropriate for a D4 with air suspension but it sounded it neat so thought I would post here.

To jack up the car do this:
Turn on engine and raise to off road height.

Shut all doors.

Pump jack under the lower wishbone.

After one or two centimetres the Disco takes over and lifts the wheel itself.

I guess it could work but surely its not that hard to do a few turns and wind it up yourself :p

BUT not as impressive and fun. :)

Not sure I would do it that way either.

It does work jacking it up by going to off road height then inserting the jack and then lowering the suspension.

I had heard of it but never tried it until one day I cracked a rim while out near Monkey Gum and Barry (Redback) showed me how to do it to change the wheel.

It makes life pretty easy changing a wheel that way, might be best to practice it a couple of times in your driveway first though do you exactly what to expect.

Hi found this variation on this forum

The trick I have learnt (no LLAMS) is to select off-road height, leave a door open so it won't try to self level. Place the jack in the appropriate spot, raise the jack until it is just starting to lift the car then get back in and close the door, now select normal height, the car will try to lower but sees an obstruction (the jack) and goes to extended. Now get out leaving the door open and jack from that height.

Doesn't need to be in off road height to do this.

Just place a under a strut, couple of turns and the wheel lifts up. Did this recently with a flat on a factory wheel.

Only works once before you need to pump the tank up again.
