Hi James.
I've been using M R Auto at Redcliffe for 12 years now. For me they know their stuff. It's a 160 km return trip for me but has been worth it.
Cheers

I use MR as well. I can't recall a LR mechanic over Indooro way.
Wish MR would relocate over this way as I'm at Graceville and it would be much easier.
If you give MR a bit of notice they can usually arrange a loaner for the day.
cheers

I didn't realise they did loan cars, that helps

I take my Discovery 3 to Knights House of Rover in Albion and I took my Rangie there also many years ago. They do a good job for me. Train station is just up the road.
A friend has a 4 year old Range Rover and he speaks highly of Ultra tune at Indooroopilly and says there is a guy there who knows his Land Rovers. I have not tried them though as I am happy were I am.
Like you I am always intrigued -out here in the west the place is crawling with LR's and RR's but nowhere to get them serviced.

Thanks for the info Paul, I might have a chat to Ultra tune, see what computer systems etc they use.

Hi
I have a MY13 Disco 4 HSE which I have had for nearly 12 mths It has
just under 9,000 k on the clock. It needs to get serviced, but as bought it through a broker and came by road transport from Cairns this is a bit far to go to get it serviced.
I was thinking of using another mechanic other than a dealer for the service As anyone done this and how did it turn out ok for you Was there any problems.
Take care Kev

My last D2 and my D4 never went to the dealer for servicing,or any out of warranty repairs.
No problems at all.
MR auto have a very good rapport with Austral LR,so this helps.
We also live near Beenleigh, but find going to MR worth the drive.

Hi Paul
Thanks very much.
I was talking to Jason at MR this morning.
I am thinking about heading in that direction seems like a man who knows
his business and someone you can trust.
Just use the disco for towing caravan mostly.Only the wife and I this way.
Thanks again Kev
