I saw mention of this in a thread on another topic but buggered if I can find it now.
So, could the brains trust here help me out with how to recalibrate the speedo using the Nanocom?
I've recently purchased a D2 that has a Defender t/c and larger tyres and the speedo is out to the tune of 13%!

the speedo correction in the Nanocom is only for the Nanocom you cant calibrate your speedo from this.
you need to purchase and install a correction unit, do a search and you should find some threads on the units and where to buy them.

Well thanks and bugger!
Anyone have a guide or manual on the Nanocom so I can get a handle on what I can and can't do with it?

I would have thought running larger tires with the Defender TC (with different output gear to the Disco) would have had a correction effect on the speedo. What size tire are you running?

Sounds like the perfect excuse to fit 4.12 diff gears!

33s are fitted but the speedo is 13% out. The RPM to actual road speed sits about where it should so I suspect that the Disco output gear is being used.
At an actual 100km/h. rpm is about 2500.
As for the diff gears .... Ah, no ... :p

You can download and save what you need from here Documentation - NANOCOM Evolution (http://nanocom-diagnostics.com/documentation.php)

You can adjust the ratio in the Nanocom to correct your Nanocom instrument mode speed reading, but I'm buggered if I can remember how as I did it 3 years ago in my D2a. Now I have different size tyres so need to do it again. Yes, I'm also fitting a C6100? unit for my actual car speedo/mileage correction.
At the risk of hijacking this thread, I've also been wondering if anyone has done any line by line notes for idiots like me of "how to" do various Nanocom actions, remembering that BBS assumes a degree of savvy to read, diagnose etc and only has a couple of very info brief documents in their web files.

To adjust the tyre co-efficient setting on the nanocom evo, page right all the way from the instrument mode screen ... It's found on the last page.
