Question in relation to the brakes on my Iveco Daily 4x4 .

I recently had a 40k service on my truck and the brain surgeons "forgot" to inspect my brakes , I found the pads were buggered so did changed them myself, luckily the rotor was passable, but will need doing next time.

The remove the rotor, the swivel housing has to be dismantled, I kid you not, the hub has to be pressed out of the $650 a set wheel bearing, which is destructive to the wheel bearing, then the rotor can be removed.

The rotor by the way has the same dimensions as a D2 rotor (297mmx22mm) but is NON ventilated. BTW the truck has CRAP brakes.

the question Im asking of Brake Experts is can I select a bigger ventilated disc blank that will go on the outside of the hub and have an adaptor plate made up to extend the caliper mounting ears. There is heaps of room inside the wheel to accomodate larger rotors,

any Brake / engineering vendors you know of that can help.(anywhere in Australia)
