Hi
I am about to install, a set of Mulgo seat rails. I have heard some people say that if you follow the instructions and remove a spacer, the seat base position angle is more or less flat rather then a slight lean backwards.
Has anybody noticed this , if so how did you place the spacers.
Rather learn from others experience rather then taking to seat in and
out several times to get it right.
Cheers for any response
Tony

Hi Tony
I left my front spacers in as it gives me a good rake backwards, i tried it with them out but felt like i could slide forward on the seat. I suppose it depends on your height, im 5'11" and it works great for me, when cruising in 6th, I can set the seat all the way back and the left foot sits nicely on the handbrake as a foot rest. I also raised the cubby box 4" and now the left arm rests lazily on the cubby box as i row through the gears.
Cheers Ian

Good luck mate, the rear bolts can be a pain in the arse to line up if the holes aren't correct in the rails (like mine were):o

I've left mine in and it provides me with a good angle... I'm 6'5!
Tried them without and it felt like I was tilted forward slightly

I like it with an angle.

job done. Thanks for the tips and comments.
A tip for anybody else considering the extension rails, remove the rear spacer and place one extra at the front to maintain the original (or very close to) base seat angle.
Yes Ian one of my rear bolts was very difficult to line up. but eventually got there.
Cheers
Tony
