Have just noticed on my drive to work this morning that the Voltmeter needle is just entering the Red Zone between after 14 volts.

Does this mean that something significant is happening??

Mine is the same. Alternators charge at around 14.4 volts, so getting a measurement on the voltmeter at around that value when charging is actually good going. What does the voltmeter read when ignition is on but the engine isn't running?

Mine too, put the lights on and it drops to about 13

It sits just above 14, so I guess I'm all ok?

Well, no. Without the engine running the battery voltage should be 12.7ish. If it's still above 14 with the engine off that isn't good.

If you are still worried about it Paul, bring it over and we can do some tests.
