Hi all, I have two series two and intend to make one good one out of the two. As both front cross members are rusted does anybody know if any of the parts places stock the weld on type cross members like the one pictured below:

Sorry cannot help you but looks like someone already can,
from your photos can I ask if you intend to keep the double overrider bumper on the red 109?, I need one to complete a future project (UN CIVPOL VEHICLE) and its been a bit I could definately use...
If you are interested in parting with it please PM me,(only need the overriders really) Im sure I could arrange some sort of transport down about easter..
cheers (good luck with the project :) )

When you get the item you need, it is a fairly straight forward job to R & R the cross member, I had to do it with 113-372, here is an image of my chassis with the offending part removed, a piece of pipe welded into place before removing the unwanted item to stop the chassis gap closing in

I have no trade skills and I managed to do it without any issues, plenty of help/advice within the forum if you get stuck, cheers Dennis
