I keep asking myself if I've gone mad ! Yesterday I went into a Land Rover showroom and put a deposit on a new 110 . I wanted a Keswick Green , with white roof . Only to be told that there are none in Australia . I was told Black , White , Dark Green , but not Keswick , To say I was disappointed would be an understatement . I was also told that Australia's next allocation was up in the air due to the run out . I had two salesmen helping me . Then one came back with a big smile and said I've got you one , but you will have to wait until June . I can say there were smiles all around . Thinking about the colour , Keswick would have to be very close to the first series 1s , so they will end in the same colour as they started out with some 67 years ago .:):) Jim..

Well done, YOu will LOVE Keswick, did you get the white roof?...If you didn't you can easily get the Dealer to spray it for you, but get it done in Limestone which is the original Landrover roof colour.
Any other options and which Dealer did you use?
Intersting comment about allocations, because I've been saying for some time that if ya want a new one ya'd better get in quickly, as build spots dry up with the last minute rush.
You're gonna be VERY happy,...but you won't know how happy, until you get it.

Well done mate!!!

My enquiries last year showed that Trivetts in Parramata, Sydney, are taking delivery of a Keswick Green one in March... it may be sold however???

The dealer here in Wollongong has one in Loire Blue (Metallic)... very unusual, but looks quite good... roof needs to be white or silver however!

You must be so excited! >:)

+1 On the Keswick.

If the dealers are saying there's no Keswick's in Oz it must mean that Southern Land Rover have sold the one they had in their yard.

I wonder Pat if they had of done a bit more mix and match a few years ago , if It would have upped there sales ? The colour that I've always liked , although to be honest would never buy , is the G4 Tangiers Orange !! Jim

I'm very jealous. I special-ordered a Keswick Green 110 with White roof in 2010 - it took 4 months to come. As far as I'm concerned that's the best original-looking colour. Melbourne Land Rover must have ordered in a couple more at the same time as I often saw similar vehicles after I got mine - including regularly one in Gisborne where I live. We probably get waved at by each other's mates!

Done 170,000kms in mine and no issues.

Wish I could afford a new one!

Jules

Jim,I've seen a lot of defenders over the years and that color match with the rims is beyond doubt the best I've ever seen,it was stunning. Pat

Hi Jules , looks like 4 months for me as well , I agree with you on the colour , I have a metallic red with a white roof 110 . I don't want another red , the 110 before that was a county that was Masai Red . So Keswick will make a nice change , and It is a great colour .. Jim :):)

Pat I wonder whether It is a off the floor model , or a special order ? The sales man at the dealers , was telling me that there is a special coming out that is going to cost $ 90k .When I said you've got to be kidding , he said to me who's going to pay that much for a Defender ? I'll look out for the model that you've seen , sound good !!.. Jim :)
