You can get computer upgrades and larger injectors if you want more power. Timing belts are a must if you don't know when they were done.

Landrover Freelander TD4 Diesel Tuning Performance Chip | eBay (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Landrover-Freelander-TD4-Diesel-Tuning-Performance-Chip-/250687138984?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a5e1e2ca8)

Won't work on the freelander your getting.
Looking at the photos they will be a L series diesel not a td4. Just to make sure what year model is it?

Hi
Google Ronbox or synergy 2. they are in the UK and get good reviews.
The short story is they recommend EGR blank, Pierburgh MAF replacement and Ronbox 2A on a TD4 Freelander. The latter 2 are about $500 delivered.
Good Luck

If you can change a TD5 one, you will have no problems with a L series turbo.

I towed a large car trailer with a Valiant ute on it from Goondiwindi to Brissy, and brought a HG Premier back up Cunninghams Gap with my Tdi Freelander, with no problem at all. Try running it standard for a while before you get carried away with performance mods. You'll be pleasantly surprised with just how good the motor is.
Put in a decent temperature gauge, and, as stated before, do the timing belt if there's any doubt about it's age. :D

If your talking about the filter in the 2nd photo. That's normal its vented to atmosphere. Its for the EGR.
Third picture looks like the turbo seals are leaking quite well. Make sure you remove the intercooler and clean out he oil.

Have you tried talking to Mario & Heather (Roverlord), they may be able to help you sort some parts suppliers, if they can't get the parts themselves?

No other hose fitted to that filter.
Are you having troubles with part numbers or suppliers?
