Hi,

Does anyone know the position the heater tap should be for the LPG system as in fully closed, half open or fully open?

Thanks.

Is there a heater tap on the 1996 V8 D1? There wasn't on my 300Tdi D1 nor is there one on my Rangie. Heater temp control is by mixing hot and cold air.

My LPG converter is connected in parallel with the heater core and there is no heater tap in the converter circuit.

There's a tap on one of the hoses going to the convertor on mine.

You want a good flow of hot water through the converter here in Sydney I have had a couple of my cars converters freeze even in summer. We had century impco converters no tap in any of the hoses:)

There's a tap on one of the hoses going to the convertor on mine.

I assume it was fitted with the converter. I'd leave it fully open.

Oh, is your converter in parallel with the heater circuit or in series?
