Hi Folks,
When driving the old girl around the paddock, generally when I hit a bad bump, the LANDI brakes seem to grab and almost stall her.
Would it be the parking brake grabbing?, or something more sinister?
Thanking you in advance.

Hi,
Long shot but it could be very loose or worn wheel bearings.
Jack up one corner at a time and hold the wheel 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock. Then try and move the wheel on a vertical axis. If it moved or "clunks" the wheel bearings need attention.

My guess would be the gearbox mounts or something that's causing the gearbox and transfer case to move when a bump is hit. The handbrake lever is connected to the chassis, and the hand brake on the back of the transfer case. When you hit a bump, I bet your box is dropping a bit causing the handbrake linkage to tighten up. This can happen if it's adjusted to tight as well.

It might be worth checking the brake shoes are correctly installed. Leading shoes can be dragged into the drum and cause binding if they are not installed correctly
