Gday All,
Good to see the L/R - Ford design team never left the D3 out of their gems of ideas. Had to change 1 of the park light globes today , so look up how to do it, no worries see the grill needs to come out, easy enough 4 clips on the top and 2 under the 2nd fin of the grill. Go to unclip the 4 along the top and every one of them broke in half.
The bloody things that hold the grill in place are bits of plastic that do a 180 degree loop, not so smart for plastic that's sitting in the heat from the engine bay and are about 3mm thick if there lucky.
Out come the super glue but will look at replacing them with alloy or stainless clips of some sort when I get a chance to investigate closer.
You have to keep the spares parts department happy I guess.
Cheers Ean
