The Freedom Tower really doesn't replace the Twin Towers, does it?

I believe that they have post shooting video quality enhancement. I will show the video to a friend who works in this domain.

Very nice, I guess that with a Sony PXW-Z100 which can do UltraHD 3840?2160 resolutions up to 60p would be possibe to get videos like that.

For me, I don't think anything will (see opening scenes up to 1.10 & then 2.40 into this clip)

The timelapse shots are just long exposure (1-2 seconds) at f2.8 or something similar. And shot in RAW. With this long exposure you will get better definition from the shot. Also some of the shots have been photoshopped slightly, RAW would also let you raise the clarity of the image in post. Each 5 second shot would be 30mins - 1hr of constant shooting put together at 30fps ot 24 fps.
Most mirrorless and DSLR cameras are cable of making shots like this with practice. I have been doing timelapse for about 5 years now.
Here is my 2013 compilation ;) working on my 2014 one now.
