Been a month since I have steered Snow White.
Dragged her out of the shed for a daytrip to Mandurah today.
Almost forgot how nice she is to steer;););););)

It's good to have a break every now and then. It stops you taking them for granted.

I usually find a day is enough. :)

Had a drive of a brand new XXV yesterday, (Thanks Cal) and was impressed how smooth the 8 speed is. I am not saying the 6 speed is not smooth, but the newer is so much more refined. They are just so good to drive.
Tomorrow I am driving to Melbourne and then back on Friday via Canberra and I am looking forward to it. The permagrin is still there after 3 years and over 80,000km.

I look forward to driving mine with proper functioning 4th, 5th and 6th gears as its been tricky to keep moving of late especially on hills. The gearbox was removed yesterday and is due to be refitted Monday week, factory refurbished to the latest level.

The grin is still there, been pushing it along as well, still don't find the 2.7 lacking anything.:):)

It is so easy and comfortable to drive.

Just seems to float along.:)

Nah, still a 6HP28 for a 3.0 TDV6 with the latest improvements including an updated TC amongst other changes. Too many possible differences to consider fitting an 8-speed instead, with an 8-speed in a FFRR being more attractive.

Andrew did you measure the voltage before starting it by any chance?
