Just stumbled on this

Land Rover Discovery Defender TD5 ECU With 2 Performance Chips Switchable MSB | eBay (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Land-Rover-Discovery-Defender-TD5-ECU-with-2-performance-Chips-switchable-MSB-/131425436407?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1e999102f7)

is this possible?
mine is chipped but always thought it would be nice to go back standard when not needed
I guess for that money I could fit a flashable one anyway!

Yes it is, and it works, a friend of mine has it... the difference between this and a flashable one is that on this one you have a switch and can go from one map to another(as they said "at a flick of a switch) and the NNN you must remap it via OBD every time you want to change the map.

Sorry mate, I can't for the life of me think of any moment when I would want to go back to a standard map.

Chipped for me means - more power, safer overtaking, easier towing, better fuel economy, more fun :D

Well there is the possibility I may very quickly change my mind if i actually drove it around standard again, it's been awhile, I do wonder if the economy was better though.
