Where to buy Key Blanks - 95 Defender - non RFID

Anyone know a cheap place to get Defender Ignition and Door key blanks?

I have a Tdi so they are not RFID keys.

So far the cheapest I can find is:

Which still seems expensive for a few basic key blanks !


Can anyone steer me a cheaper way?

Have you tried your local key man ?

I had two ignition keys cut for about $15 a few months back (maybe June '14), they are not 'genuine' blanks (they don't have the rubber end) but they do the job for a spare key.

I've tried several "any locksmiths" to no avail.

I *think* the keycutter at Kippa Ring (Peninsula Fair) did some for me. Some keycutters will even keep your pattern on file, in the event you ever lose all your keys.
