When mine had the LT77 in it, I had a little wooden box in front of the centre console that had 3 compartments. The front 2 were cup holders and the rear bit was for my phone/coins/wallet. Now the auto is in there, it doesn't fit and has been moved into the 101 for similar duties.

I would like a pair of cup holders that fastened to the side of the centre console, near the transfer case shifter....
anyone know of some generic loop type holders which would work ?

Inc, the other alternative is to get the Fisher cup holders (http://www.ultimatecupholders.com/fischercupholder.html)

Hi Inc, I fitted a marine style folding cup holder purchased from Whitworth Marine for about $5.00. This was screwed to the drivers side of the centre consul and folded out when required the closed when not. I have a very bad photo on the 'gauge pod' post. I am having difficulty resending the photo. The cup holder is the dark object on the drivers side of the consul. Cheap, easy to install and works. I hope this helps. Phil

back in the 70's In Darwin I made a pair of gimble mounted "cup holders"...which were in fact sized to hold a stubby holder.
In the old series I had it was easy to mount them.
but I think with some thought you make something nice in the same manner.
nothing spills in the gimble mount.....and it's good to watch sometimes.
most marine shops supply gimble mounts of varying sizes.
