Whilst a leaking Land Rover isn't unusual, i noticed this evening some grease on the front drivers side wheel. Looks like it's come through the wheel hub?? I'll try to post some pic tomorrow, but any idea where the grease is coming from and mor importantly what do I need to do?

Cheers

It will be either coming from behind the drive flange (leaking gasket - loose studs or just damaged gasket, but possible indicator of loose wheel bearing) or from under the plastic hub cap (replace or clean up and refit using a suitable sealant, depending on condition).

It does not fit your description, but could also be from the oil seal on the inside of the hub - a somewhat bigger job to replace.

Leaking gasket !

Were the drive flange bolts lose? Or just an old gasket?

Check your breather line.It could be blocked, hence causing the problem(pressure build up).Similar issue with my rear wheels (still to be rectified).

Bolts were lose as well.

Bolts were lose as well.

Jack the wheel up and check for loose wheel bearings - loose bolts are sometimes a symptom of this (other times, poor workmanship!).

Bolts were lose as well.

There is a torque setting in the workshop manual somewhere.

Edit: found it
