Anyone have it ?

Years ago we had Austar and enjoyed watching the world superbikes and speedway.

Few months ago I had an expensive new antener thingy installed, worked okay for awhile but bloke said if someone errects something between it and base I would lose the pic.

Now it crashes and bangs and is pixilated for long periods, GRRRR.

I hate this digital crap.

Anyway, Foxtel advertising a deal for $50 a month with 9 sports channels an sundry other channels.

Does Foxtel show these sports and even F1 and Moto ?

I dont want to waste my money if if is mostly thugby league and dive ball crap.

Ta.

PS: Is there an online daily tv guide for Foxtel ?

Hi Mate,

I believe that Foxtel show ALL sessions of the F1 (practice, qualifying and naturally the race). Only some races are on Channel 10 live.

It's the same for the v8supercars - every race is live on Foxtel, but only certain races (like Bathurst) are shown live on Channel 10.

I know that Foxtel also have the World Superbike Championship (as I was watching some of it on the weekend).

But I'm not sure about Moto GP... Sorry.

There is an on-line TV guide. Go to

https://www.foxtel.com.au/whats-on/tv-guide/default.htm

In relation to sports - you will also see stuff like Rugby, AFL, Nascar, soccer, cricket, etc.

I find with Foxtel - that I always find something to watch!

Thank you.

I will keep my eye on the guide for a bit before I sign up.

I have Foxtel but, as I don't watch sport, I have no idea what they show.

I do know that if my wife wants to watch equestrian events, they are not shown on the package we have, we'd have to buy more sports channels and it's already too exxy for what we get.

The trouble with Foxtel packaging is that one gets channels which are of no interest to us, e.g., children's channels, news channels, etc., but not the channels we'd like. They cost a lot extra.
