Some questions for those that have 'em & use 'em.

An I correct in saying that the pairs of "horns" that attach to the front & rear of the car body must not only be parallel, they must actually be IN THE SAME PLANE? So, if the best mounts at the front are higher than those at the back then I have to make/fabricate the connections while keeping the horns in the same plane i.e. with an offset.

The low cost ones adjust for the rotational centre of gravity via a series of holes about 50-75mm apart. The more expensive ones have continuous adjustment:

How critical is this? Are the holes sufficiently close together to get a good balance point?

Any clever ideas for holding up the car to attach the horns?

I will want to pull out the car & rotisserie assembly out of the workshop & onto lawn (with a tractor then pull it back in with a boat winch) so I can use a Gerni. Are 125mm castors OK assuming the ground is dry? I could replace them with 200mm pneumatics but to get 6x @ $90-100 each increases the price by 50+%!
