Help with identification

Hi all,

I have discovered another 80 inch and an engine and I need some help with identifying them both as far as year etc. or anything else. They are on a relatives property in western NSW (but that doesn't mean they are from there originally)
The complete 80 is number: 1660400
The engine number is: 16104412 (?)

Any help appreciated.

Your chassis number is incomplete, it is most likely 16661400 which originally had engine 16104337, delivered by dealer Mc Aleer's Garage (Camden) 1/6/51

The engine was originally fitted to 16661430 delivered by dealer West Dubbo Service Stn on 6/6/51

Actually your number was most likely 16660400 this vehicle had engine 16100769 and was also sold by West Dubbo Motors, which could explain the engine swap.

It was dispatched from Grenville's in Sydney 11/12/1950

Thanks Lotz-A,

Makes good sense as both the vehicle and the motor are located west of Dubbo, so it appears they are still local after all this time.
