Before i stab myself in the eye with a screwdriver
can somebody point me to the plug wiring diagram for the underseat CD stacker to the plug on the back of the L/R head unit that has only one cd in it.i'm unable to determine which goes where by testing
i have been through Rave as best i can and can't find anything
the lead has 7 wires and the socket has 10 pins (see foto)
or maybe the gods have provided us with an adapter, a part number for this and
for which i would pay a healthy Toth
thanks in advance Paul

if this is right one you may be able to look at wire colours at back of radio and match them to colours at autochanger plug. sorry its all I can come up with

Take autochanger - throw in bin
Take head unit - throw in bin
Take CDs from autochanger (before throwing in bin) and convert to MP3
Get fancy new head unit, with bluetooth hands free capability and USB/CD
Copy freshly converted songs to usb or cd and stick in fancy new head unit (which are cheap now) and enjoy.
You'll get better sound, better versatility, hands free mobile, bluetooth audio... And better radio reception...

Dear Tombie
Thank you for spending my next 3 pension Cheques on frivolous expenditure,,just the short joiner lead with 2 plugs on it would be better.
given that i'm 3 parts deaf anyway it's not much point for me putting in a fang doogly new one of them MP3 thingys
i have one of those in my other D2 and the steering controls don't work with it.as for the sound,,i like the sound from my genuine unit well enough.
But thanks anyway for your Valuable input.
cheers
Paul
