My front right is drooping!

So I've put new springs all round on Old Red (RRC) but still the driver's side front is sitting lower than the the passenger's side which is exactly as it was before I changed the springs.. Originally there was a spacer on that side to give it a small lift. Thought everything would be level with new springs.
What could it be?

Were they marked left & right?
If not, try swapping from side to side.




It might also pay to check the heights to the ground from the chassis (or bump stop clearances) to eliminate any body issues.

No they are standard new front and rear springs. Not marked left and right.
Blue strip for front and green stripe for back...
Am going to do a bit of measuring today try and see whats going on.

Scouse is right ......spring makers take into account the canber of the roads and they will have an L or R punched on the spring or a tag

Try swapping them as he has suggested.

Mine had the same issue until I got out of the driver seat :D

I'll check but I am pretty sure they weren't marked. I tried swapping the previous springs I had on it and it made no difference . Will be putting a post 85 front axle assembly and radius arms soon. Maybe that will solve it.

I have heard of other people having a similar problem.

Mine does this also, and the springs were swapped by the FIL just before he handed it down to me. I've always assumed it's just my fat arse that caused the issue....:D

Let us know if you solve it - I'm looking at putting new standard springs in mine in the next few months.

Where are you measuring the heights? I have seen a Disco I with collapsed body mounts that gave the appearance of a spring sag, but it was the body sagging on the chassis instead.

I have had 3 RRCs and now a D2.

NONE OF THEM HAVE EVER BEEN LEVEL!

It is just something Land Rover does to mess with your mind.

It doesn't matter and has no effect on the vehicle's driving performance.
