Ok. Anyone who has been following this forum thread will know of the starting trouble I have on my TD5 after redoing the head . Discoverevvy has rightly told me that the injector washers are probably not seating properly.
The symptom is one of fuel starvation. As someone said the fuel pump sounds like a strangled cat! All that air, tank is full of diesel.
Now we come to my first query. When I pulled off the rocker cover I put my Nanocom on and found that all the codes are totally foreign on the injectors
I put the correct ones back in and it coughed up the foreign ones again.
I have put them back in again but who knows what.
When I enter them I am hitting enter then OK.to go to the next injector. Is this correct?
The machine shop mixed up the injectors when I left it to them to pull them out.
Any help would be gratefully accepted.
Regards Nick.
