Rolled Defender, I am in Mexico, parts, information and other Defenders are scarce. I am in dire NEED of a remote and keys (r they separate in this vehicle??) Found somebody with a key business in USA and was asked for the part number to a remote (is the key and remote together in this model??) for the Defender 2010. They have 3 remotes that fit my vehicle but wanna know which p/n it is?? Since mine is Australian and the frequency is different does anybody have the pertinent info here?? Part number, Frequency, etc?? It's all in the back of remote. THX!

2010 Defender key fob information on the back.

I'm reluctant to open it up as there is a whole procedure to follow if you dislodge the battery...

Cheers,

Lou

There's a thread on here somewhere by the original owner of your rolled Defender, saw it just the other day. Have you tried contacting him on the off chance that the remotes went home with him?
Edit: just checked the thread, the original owner's user name is Carlos, still active on here. You may have contacted him already, but if not, surely worth a PM.

Yes, Ive PMed him but no reply yet. Thx Again, I was hopeful somebody could get me a P/N for the remote and it seems the remote has the P/N insode the actual remote?? Still havent figured out if this defender has keys and remote separate or if its a single unit??

Thx, seems as if it would be easier to just delete the (seems its possible but expensive $$$$) Anti Theft Unit out of the ECU. Does anybody know if this is possible w/out shipping it around the world?? I am in Mexico....
