I tried to fit this item today, and no matter where I put a bolt, nothing seemed to line up? the item in question
https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
I had 2 bolts (loosely) holding it to the B/head but the line of holes for the rad/sup panel were way off line.
The length of this item is approx. 1100mm (roughly) from end to end, the hole for the stay is approx. 200mm from the back edge, ? what guard have I got, I was assured when I bought the vehicle that the guards were for an 86" Series 1, but I'm thinking my mate might have been suckered by some p**** just to buy them.
Both of us here have head colds so I'm hoping that my T/A was just being over cautious saying your going to knock paint off etc etc etc and that maybe I shouldn't be playing outside either, so does anyone have the dimensions for a s1 86" guard that I can check against the ones I have, I'm starting to get a little urinated off with this LOL cheers (grumbles) Dennis

Thank you Jim for your time n effort, I started thinking about my T/A's ability to be able to check all points where it might hit up against some projected part/s, so I had another look and I got my T/A to make sure that the inner slid in behind the B/head <>chassis sup/bracket and cleared the edges of the steering box, while I held n moved the guard, with that done here was the result

it lined up with all holes etc and looks OK to me, I'm just hoping that they are correct, ? the wheel appears to be in the right place in relation to the guard to my eye, anyway I think that I will just cover it up until I'm over this head cold, I just hate sitting on my hands and doing NOTHING, because if I don't do it who will, cheers and thanks to all who looked at this post, cheers from a not so grumpy old b dennis
