How the hell do I get cable to the top coin tray at the centre of the Puma dash?

Pulled the centre stereo section out of the dash as per the posts on the forum. This was the easy part. But I'll be stuffed if I can find a route back to the firewall. What's the trick? I need to route cable from my Exbox to the mud pod.

Further, which is the dash illumination wire into the back of the stereo - colour/pattern? Or else another easy tap in

Cheers

Please help.

Tap in to the cigarette lighter illumination... if your wiring is going to your exbox, any way you can just run it down the centre ofnthe dash, under the mat that covers the trans tunnel, and into your exbox that way? Just a thougnt..

Thanks mate. Will tag off the cig socket for dash lights.

Have to run a few wires (7 core and wires from my traxide usi160 isolator) so would like to do it by not running it under the matting, as there doesn't seem to be that much room.

This was a reply I made to a recent thread if it helps...
I recently ran a 7 core wire from my Mulgo Ex-box to the centre dash panel.
From the dash/radio my route was to cable tie to the internal dash bar,50mm dia.?
It then runs to the left of the dash and is tied to the air vent tube above what would be the fuse panel if LHD.
This avoids all the workings of the heater controls and the air conditioning piping.
From the vent tube I then headed out the grommet with the other electrical loom next to the heater box on the left side.
This is the top of the gearbox tunnel area so consider the heat in this area.
From there I went up into the box.

Thanks a ton, mate.

Did you have to pull the entire dash, or is there a 'trick'?
